[Samba-it] Problema con feisty, vmware e bridge...

Ho testè aggiornato la macchina del lavoro da edgy a feisty, senza
sostanzialmente nessun problema.

L'unica cosa è che non mi riesce di far andare più samba tra l'host e
il guest.

Avendo io un dominio l'host è configurato con security = DOMAIN, è
correttamente in join a domini e se cerco di accedervi da uno qualsiasi
degli altri host della rete funziona senza nessun problema.

Il guest è in bridge mode, accede senza nessun problema a tutti gli
host della rete (server, client con share, ...).

Il guest pinga l'host e viceserva.


Se cerco di sfogliare la rete alla ricerca dell'host dal guest o di cercare
il computer host dal guest con 'trova computer' l'operazione va in
timeout, e nei log dell'host con level 5 vedo solo:

Ho già provato a:

a) rifare il join a dominio
b) piallare tutta la configurazione di samba (tuttti i .tdb) e ripartire
 da capo.


Non so più dove sbattere la testa, googolando ho trovato:

ed è esattamente il mio problema, manco ssh funziona.


Provo anche a sentire gli ubunteri, ma se qualcuno avesse un hint...
