[Samba-it] stampanti cups

Installando la stampante come stampante locale e poi cambiandogli la porta 
(mettendo il server samba come destinazione) riesco a stampare, solo che mi 
stampa una pagina prima con stampati due caratteri %! e poi stapma il resto 
correttamente.
Ho impostato la stampante in cups come stampante RAW, ho messo nell smb.conf 
nella sezione printer la seguente configurazione:

        comment = All Printers
        path = /var/tmp
        guest ok = Yes
        printable = Yes
        postscript = Yes
        use client driver = Yes
        browseable = No

[print$]
        comment = Printer Drivers
        path = /var/lib/samba/drivers
        read only = No

        comment = Stampante Hp 990 Cxi

        guest ok = Yes

La mia stampante è un HP 990 Cxi, il pc da cui devo stampare è windows 2000 
Server con sp3 la versione di samba è la 2.2.6 e il kernel è il 2.4.19 (suse 
8.1) e la stampante è collegfata fisicamente al mio pc tramite la porta 
parallela. ti riporto qui sotto anche i file printers.conf
