I'm a little late to this party, but the Dates on those 21 messages
that arrived in that group ranged from 07 Mar 2006 to 22 Aug 2007.
They all had no subject and they all used a non-European charset.
I suspect one or both of those conditions trapped them in mailman's
pending queue, which was apparently flushed out to the list that day.
FWIW, I'm in favor of moderating non-subscriber posts to the list as
long as there are several moderators available for timely coverage.
