Again I rebooted via GRUB, into recovery-mode. I dropped to root,
remounting the filesystem with write permissions. Next I reset my
password. Then I resumed normal boot.

I opened Ubuntu Software and tried installing ClamTk. That's a graphical
front-end to Clam Antivirus. But the Administrator-password window
rejected my password!

So I opened a Terminal window. And I tested sudo, using an example. But
it failed, refusing my password!

I'd next like to use recovery-mode, to install those applications, from
the command-line interface. But I don't know how to do that; please advise.
