Hi George,

I had offerred to demo LXQT, running on an ageing laptop.  What I would show 
wont' take long and would not have the same effect if run as a VM on your 
laptop.  The main app I wanted to demo is pdfForts.

At present, x86 distro tend not to install LXQT directly anyway.  LXDE needs 
to be installed first then LXQT "pattern" applied.  You could try installing it 
as a VM, of course.   I run it on openSUSE, mainly because I know my way 
around the latter distro.
