Dear Tony,
Found the clug online with this tablet after my pc stopped during a
download of 14.04 ubuntu.

Our usual computer shop of course claims not to know anything at all about
open source anything.

Son in Melbourne is busy preparing for exams... can you suggest where to go
for help? Needs rebooting with an external drive and disk?
