LPI or Red Hat are *extremely* useful for obtaining work. LPI costs
nothing to study - not sure about Red Hat. Supervised examination is
required to be able to use the qualification - that costs money.
A++ (?) 'used' to do a Linux certification that included the LPI - it
was very good value but I'm not sure if it's still an offer.

There is also Ubuntu certification - which 'may' be useful, but not as
widely recognised - nor are the skills.

Kind regards
