[clug] Fedora 20 Network Manager or simple network service

hi,
  looking for some opinion on how to setup network for my MythTV server.
I've just upgraded to Fedora 20, and hit a issue with my Network interfaces which I have 
resolved now, but wondering if I should again disable Network Manager and just use the 
network.service (simple network service) .

I only have 2 Ethernet devices at the moment.
is there a dis/advantage to use NM now or in the future?
