I suspect it isn't a UEFI bios issue as UEFI secure boot didn't become an
issue till Windows 8 was released last year and any BIOS that did support
UEFI would be configured to support legacy mode by default.

Hopefully someone at the CLUG meeting can fix it for you this evening.
