Errr, it's not the dragway but "Fairbairn Park", which has several different
motorsport complexes both on and off road.  I suspect since it's the car
club they're using the circuit at the back of the driver training centre, or
the Hill Climb circuit.  So the Disaster Area Level Setting noise monitoring
requirements may be less exaggerated than you think :-)

What I don't know is what kind of monitoring he needs.  Can it just be
logged to a CSV file and graphed later?  Does he need a big display of
coloured numerals updated in real time?  Some type of graph?  I'm hoping
he'll come on list and answer those himself.
