[clug] Safari on Linux: anyone do it?

I've a bunch of Safari 'webarchive' files that I'd like to be able to
get to in a Linux environment:
 - search with index tool like Google [anything Open Source out there?]
 - open with a browser

Before I go writing code to convert 'webarchive' into other browser save
formats (I've read the docs, the binary plist format used is well
documented), I'd like to know if this is a well-solved problem.

A quick google suggests that running Safari-for-windows under WINE is
possible:
 - does that work reliably?
 - any 'gotchas' people have found??

Anything else I need to be aware of?

Thanks in Advance

steve
