Another one....

I used to use the flight control software X-Plane when my machine also 
had Windoze; but I've been unable to get the prescribed/sanctioned Linux 
installer to work. It's a program called 
"X-Plane_Installer_123_DVD_Linux", and I've made it executable, and it 
appears in the file manager (Dolphin) as executable, but no amount of 
trying seems to get it to execute.

Any suggestions, please?
