Anything to get a bit of alliteration into the title.
Anyway, because people asked at the last meeting, we are planning on having a
barbecue for the holiday season. The variables have been hard-coded with the
current values:
Where: Black Mountain Peninsula - Latitude -35.289067, Longitude 149.100609
When: 12PM - 3PM.
Bring: Your own food and drink. Maybe something to share?
Look for: the large congregation of people wearing Linux-y T-shirts.
Activities: Possible frisbee use. Boasting about outrageous feats of
technical brilliance and/or employer/employee/workmate/contractor epic fail.
People talked about going for a bike ride beforehand. If you want to do that,
the general plan was to do the central basin. I'd suggest meeting at the
Captain Cook water-jet parking area just off Barrine Drive (Lat -35.289067,
Long 149.100609) at about 10AM for a leisurely ride around and thence to the
peninsula for lunch.
Feel free to chip in with your own ideas.
Have fun,
Paul
