[clug] Help needed cloning a Debian 2.2 system

G'day there,
I need some help cloning an old Debian system running applications using
iBCS.
What I would like to do is get this running under a virtual machine I think.
We have had a good run but the replacement systme has been delayed so we
want to make sure everything keeps running meantime.
I am unclear of the exact details on how to best achieve this.
This would be on a commercial basis.
Anyone with the required knowledge and interesting in helping out,
please contact me off list.
I need to get this done soon,

P.S. I enquired about this in 2008 (cannot believe it was that long ago)
and received various replies that made sense. 
Now I need to do it. Procrastination...
