I understand that this distro is still supported. After a recent update a bad /etc/init.d/mythfrontend
arrived with a syntax error:
	OPTIONS="$OPTIONS --daemon --logfile --user ${MYTHBACKEND_USER} /var/log/mythtv/$prog.log --pidfile /var/run/$prog.pid"
should be
	OPTIONS="$OPTIONS --daemon --user ${MYTHBACKEND_USER} --logfile /var/log/mythtv/$prog.log --pidfile /var/run/$prog.pid"

The package is  mythtv-backend-0.23-3.fc11.x86_64 which I picked 21/Jun.

The error means that when I restarted the backend (my machine backup does this)
it did not start.

If do not know if the same problem exists in other versions, but do note this
if you restart your backend.
