[clug] NetworkManager issue?

I now noticed that mail is not properly sent either... time to
remove nm.

I simply did this:

service NetworkManager stop
   at this point the network was actually taken down!
   so I manually brought it up 'service network restart'
chkconfig NetworkManager off
chkconfig network on

So far so good, I will keep an eye on it for a few days.
