I have one of those installed.  Works well, but seems to be a bit "noisy", 
throwing pulses when you'd think it shouldn't...  not sure if that's 
because I haven't tied something to ground or not, 'though!

I use it to detect leaks in the watering system.  Shuts the water off any 
time the flow goes insane.
