I agree that the delete button is necessary for any mailing list, as not
all subjects are going to be interesting to all subscribers. I don't
even read all of the threads on this list that really *are* about Linux,
some of them just don't interest me despite their highly technical
content. Same goes for every list I'm subscribed to.

However keep in mind that "the delete button is *right there*" is the
excuse used by spammers to fill your inbox. It's a poor excuse for them,
at some point it becomes a poor excuse for us too.
