If you want to make it easy and smooth experience (KISS) go the Live 
CD/DVD way

YMMV with LiveUSB!

I have wasted a lot of time trying to get LiveUSB & Bootable USB working 
with some machines.

BIOS options aside. it seems not only to depend on the particular 
machine but also the particular USB stick that is being used.
