[clug] FOSS alternatives to Crystal Reports

Anyone know of or use general reporting tools that work with Open Source
databases?

I've never used or seen Crystal Reports in action.
I'm guessing/hoping it is more than a sexed up version of RPG.
Can anyone correct or confirm this view?

Wikipedia has a list - perhaps there are better lists?:

I will be looking at Open Source accounting packages and was wondering
what people do for 'standard reports' from the Accounting Database.
