You cut out everything I said, so it isn't clear if you meant to talk to me
or just make a general comment.  Anyhow...

No.  Any system that already uses any of the mechanisms I named (LVM, MD, UUID
or LABEL mounts) will work transparently over the upgrade.

Your best bet is probably to start with either the instructions in the release
notes[1] or with the suggestion I made.
