I use my Acer Aspire One running Fedora 11 as a laptop (with an
external monitor, keyboard, and mouse when I'm at home) and have no
complaints other than the fact that it can get a bit sluggish if I
have too many programs open.

It probably depends a lot on your use case, though. I only use this
one for email and internet, really. It also runs my presentations when
I'm speaking, and is the go-to machine for travelling. In other words,
it does exactly what I bought it for ;)
