Me neither, but it might be worth checking out one of the lightweight
versions. I know the Eee version of Fedora is called Eeedora, information
available here:

Perhaps a Debian convert can help out with the Ubuntu variant ... ?
FWIW, I intend to do this to mine at some stage, but haven't gotten that far
yet. I've found Xandros suitable for purpose so far, so I'm waiting for a
weekend when I'm sitting around bored (ha! who am I fooling?!).
