The issue is, as always, the backplane. The shuttle cases will only take
certain shuttle motherboards, but there is nothing stopping you from
taking the PSU out and plugging it into an ITX mobo, or sitting a
standard ATX PSU on the table next to it and testing the shuttle
motherboard that way.
