Just an observation.

New laptop has arrived & I'm getting it configured.

The "IBM Preload" partition is 6.5Gb.
Which gives 3 'recovery' disks:
boot CD - 225Mb
DVD 1 - 4.4Gb
DVD 2 - 1.3Gb

Compare to the Kubuntu distro - around 650Mb.

Am I wrong thinking that the std Kubuntu distro does at least as much,
if not more, in 10% of the size???

What mistake am I making here?
