[clug] SATA info for you

Chris,

Nice of you to think of others! It is a pity that the URL
http://linuxmafia.com/faq/Hardware/sata.html
seems to be rather dated. It talks about rebuilding the kernel "to 2.4.27 or
later" (even mine is 2.6.18), suse 9.3 (now 10.2 with alpha 10.3), Knoppix
3.7 (5.01 now) etc.

I should get my new box on Saturday, so my anxiety about Linux support is
showing...

Regards,

OldAl.
