[clug] Macbook Pro DVI -> VGA ?

Hey,

Has anyone had any luck with a Macbook Pro outputting video through the
DVI port using a converter to vga?

DVI output works fine, but as soon as I use a converter I get nothing
(tried both fglrx and radeon dri drivers).
