I too installed this Ubuntu and poking around, found DVD::Rip. Someone
on this list asked about that before, so I downloaded it plus all the video
stuff as well as the extras from http://medibuntu.sos-sts.com/ and it just worked. A real pleasure.

Sort of a quantum leap from last year.
