I'm just wondering if people who use the OZTivo XML data for there program guide data are
aware of the ability to update episode information to get correct titles for there recordings.

if you want to be able to know which "Enterprise" you are watching mostly you need to
update the guide data with current episode name, then download a fresh copy. note the data
is cached for 2 hours so download after this period.

There is some documentation here:==>
http://minnie.tuhs.org/twiki/bin/view/TVGuide/SiteNavigation and main website is
http://www.tvguide.org.au/

The interface is pretty basic but it does the job well, and is always being improved.

If you know some shows have episode names are missing you can jump on to the Guide data as
mostly the channels are regional is up to people in ACT to correct program changes or
Episode edit to be done by people using the data

Procedure:

0 obtained Episode names from various online EPG eg (www.yourtv.com.au )
1. http://minnie.tuhs.org/tivo-bin/tvguide.pl and select the day & channel (little red
dot) then
2. Select Program to edit by using the Edit "Showing" link(not the Episode title)
3. if title is "No Title" then Click and "Replace Episode" Button and select current
episode name If the Episode doesn't exist you can add this as well. Done by clicking the
Episode title link on that page as well.
4. Update the record and your done
5. wait 1-2 hours and launch your download again (or wait till your scheduled download
starts)

I guess if everyone does a little the benefit is received by all...

Thanks
Paul
