Absolutely!

My particular area of interest is in online support.  I've been regularly
helping people out in various Ubuntu related Freenode channels for about a
year now and it's very rewarding.

The frustrated users of other OSes I talk to are interested in Linux but
concerned about overcoming the difficulties they will encounter.  A Make The
Move session needs to get them over the initial hump and also reassure them
that there is continued timely support available.  When they have
difficulties, being able to quickly interact with the people who helped set
them up will be an asset.  There is also the feeling of community that is
engendered.

Wow, there needs to be meetings with no scheduled talks more often ;-).
