[clug] Spare laptop HDD and ram

G'day,

Has anyone out there got an old laptop HDD or some spare RAM sitting
around that they feel like donating (or trade for a six pack/bottle of
wine/a little $) to a poor student. The current specs are 5GB and 32MB
so anything bigger than that would be great.

It is going towards a box that i want to run Linux from scratch on as
a "learning about Linux internals" project.

I'm in civic so anywhere round there or anywhere else near a bus stop
would be great.

On a related question does anyone know of any good basic ssh tutorials
(the box doesn't have a screen or a keyboard).
