I'm looking at getting an Epson colour printer as they seem to have really
good OSS support and reasonably priced inks. I have a Canon scanner that doesn't
even work properly under MaxOS X, but my Canon camera works just fine.

And a DirectX host if one wishes to play games. Non-game player that I am,
it took a little while for me to find satisfactory OSS alternatives or
for satisfactory solutions to mature (i.e. Open Office) before I was able to
use all that free space I had on /dev/hda.
