That's interesting Alex.

TransACT limit the number of simultaneous streams that can be received
to 2 I think. This is so changing channels on a settopbox happens
quicker than the IGMP release occurs naturally.

Could this be the reason CRC IP recorder failed?  It would be ideal if
a Myth box could conduct simultaneous recordings if they're available.

The MythTV installfest for Thursday is shaping up well.  Hopefully,
we'll have a number of UDP streams in N101 to experiment with.
