I'm (now) a Grapevine customer and I get port 25 filtered too. I rang
them to ask why and they started with "We didn't change anything", then
went to "Yeah, network Ops did it". I ask "Why?" and the helpdesk monkey
didn't know. I got a call back telling me that running servers was
strictly prohibited but that they'd call back and answer the "Why?"
question anyway. That didn't happen. At the time I didn't start the "How
do you define a server?" argument, but I may do so since I'm going to
have to call again anyway to get the answer to "Why?".

Filtering port 25 *outbound* makes a lot of sense so they can protect
the world from Windows zombies sending spam and viruses, but filtering
port 25 *inbound* gains nothing and pisses me off.
