There was mention a few days back of a cross platform microsoft access replacement.

This is something that i have spent some time researching at various times. The most appropriate that i have found is named Rekall

Rekall is dual licensed, the GPL version is available from:

Some distributions already have a package for it.

I have only used the linux version but it seems you can buy versions for windows and os X from www.thekompany.com
