YOU is just the name of the update component of YaST (stands for YaST
Online Update). If you need extra files, you actually want the install
and remove component, after adding an FTP / HTTP mirror to the
"installation sources" (or something like that) section of the
"software" tab of YaST.

On the topic of the "software missing off the DVD but on the FTP site",
I found all their Java stuff (Jakarta Tomcat and friends), the Eclipse
IDE, etc. are all YaST'able off mirrors like mirror.pacific.net.au but
not on the DVD. Very, very handy. I'd recommend pointing the YaST
installation source at a local mirror of the 9.2 directory of SuSE,
because when you search for new packages to install, it will then
include all these packages that didn't make it on the DVD.

FWIW, I downloaded the DVD, installed as much as I needed off there,
they used YaST against the ftp mirror to get the rest.

Nathan.
