[clug] linux on UC ressies network

G'day all,

I dont know if introductions on first post are custom on this list; in case they are my name is Robin im an arts *eeewwwww* student at UC, and im running Ubuntu on a laptop. Its the second distro of linux that i have run (the first being debian). As an arts student, im using linux because i feel i should have the right to fiddle with the source, rather than because i have the technical ability to actually do the fiddling.

Anywho, my question is if anyone on the list has any experience of living behind the UC ressies network, cause its giving me some minor headaches at the moment, so could anyone with said experience contact me off list (if that isnt breaking any unwritten (or written that i just failed to see) rules of the list).

Oh, and btw, the first clug related link on google from a search for "canberra LUG" was <http://limestone.uoregon.edu/woven/lugww/AU.html> which had the web address for clug as <http://samba.anu.edu.au/clug> which when clicked upon gives a lovely not found page. There was a form on the site for changing it, but it also seemed to deliver me to an equally lovely not found page, so anyone who knows how to contact them oregonites might like to update them of the <clug.org.au> web address.
