[clug] Vector data for Australian Postcodes (for R on Linux)?

I just had a look on the BRS search engine (Australian natural resources 
data library) that I built a few years ago.  It looks like it has been 
pulled down.  I then googled for the information and it looks like it 
can only be purchased.  Costs a couple of thousand dollars.
