[clug] Samba behaviour

I have configured my samba and can see the shares on my windoze clients. But
when I want to access my shares thru ACCPAC accounting application, I get
the error that

P:\accpac\psqldata\data cannot be found... meaning my shared drive cannot be
found and yet my ODBC can connect
properly.

Is  this an issue of permissions between samba vs Windows... if so how do I
resolve
it..
