[clug] is it me or transact?

Hi Jim,

Assuming your system wasnt performing any other network activity at the
time, this certainly looks like a problem.

To help pinpoint the hops...

Hop 1 = Your box
Hop 2 = TransACT ERX
Hop 3 = NetSpeed Border Router

Its killing itself at hop 2 which is link between your set top box (or
modem) and TransACT's ERX. That sort of packet loss and bad ping times to
me indicate either something else going on with your link at the same time,
or a fault somewhere in the TransACT network.

I hope this helps.

Regards,

Brian Morris
NetSpeed.
