I've had good success with this one (I got the OEM version):

Curiously the DVDs it burns in Linux don't seem to work properly in
Linux on my old 8x DVD drive, however the same drive seems to be able
to read them fine in Windows. All the other drives I've tried read
the DVDs correctly on both platforms.
