22nd April CANBERRA: Telecommunications Consumer Consultation

The Internet Society of Australia (ISOC-AU) is holding a free evening
meeting on Thursday 22nd April 2004, in Canberra for anyone who uses the
Internet, personally or professionally - please pass this invitation on.

It will be a friendly, informal round-table event to discuss views and
concerns on current Internet issues, technologies, needs and directions,
with the aim of fostering public participation and input into Internet
development and ISOC-AU policy.

Previous meetings have covered topics such as spam, regional issues,
broadband, accessibility, domain names, policy, etc.  See reports at -

TIME: 5:30pm to 7:00pm on 22nd April 2004

VENUE: Room N101,
       on the ground floor of the
       Computer Science and Information Technology building
       at the Australian National University
       entry best from 'back' of the building

Note for CLUG attendees this meeting will be held in the same room just
prior to the CLUG meeting.
