It is a bit. Sometimes apparent hypocrisy can be a sign of having
doubts about your convictions, leading to eventually a better
understanding. (But it sounds a bit unlikely when I put it like that,
doesn't it?)
Recovering from current external perceptions of Microsoft as a
paranoid, untrustworthy, greedy, petty, and politically inept
organization will take years.
