What I would do is this:

1) Make sure I have a working Linux boot-floppy, OR a rescue CD (the RH7.3 
install CD will probably do - IIRC it has a rescue mode that will auto-detect 
RH root partitions).  Test this!

2) Install Windows.

3) Boot into Linux using media from 1)

4) As root, run 'grub-install'

5) Reboot.  It should all work just fine.
