Greetings all,
Could someone please help me with the following problem:
There is a server with a scsi raid cage and hw raid - basic mirror. When i
try to install RH 7.3 onto this server, the installation works fine and I
can use it afterwards, however when I try to install RH AS 2.1, upon getting
to the screen where I partition my HD I get the following error:

An error has occurred - no valid devices were found on which to create new
file systems. Please check your hardware for the cause of this problem.

I suspect this is due to the fact that when RH7.3 starts its installation
procedures it loads mptscsih and mptbase modules into memory however AS 2.1
doesn't. Question is as follows, is there any way to load these modules into
memory prior the start of the installation process, or do I have to make a
custom kernel with them included? Or am I completely wrong and I should be
looking somewhere completely different.

Any advice, comments/experiences based on similar situations would all be
greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Boris
