(OT)mirror at WebOne

I've just sent my 2 cents worth off to Webone...

IMHO its in their best interest to setup a local mirror for linux
distros, etc, maybe something like mirror.aarnet :o), as it would save
on their outgoing bandwidth to their upstream provider (which is volume
charged).

Lets see if we can create some demand for this....

Hi Rob,

I have spoke to some of the other people here at WebOne and they have
said that it is
unlikely that we will have a local mirror as we haven't had sufficient
demand for one
so far. As demand for one increases the setup of a local mirror will be
more likely.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

All the best,
Adrian
