Help requested - CD-ROM problems in RH 7.2

I cannot recall what I did to fix this - basically the problem went
away on subsequent reboots and now I run 2.4.17 anyway.

A fix is to place

   modprobe -a cdrom

should fix the problem.

Place the command in /etc/rc.d/rc.local if you like.
