telstra adsl

hi there all,
		just got telstra adsl in today, having a few probs getting it going in
linux-2.4.5, I'm using rp-pppoe and this is the messages I get when trying
to log on with the linux box.

LCP timeout sending Config-Requests
Connection terminated
Timeout waiting for PADO packets
Exit


Anyone whos using telstra adsl got any ideas as where to go to fix this, the
connection works fine in windows and I followed all the instructions for
rp-pppoe etc.
