Buying a hard drives

Hmmm.  It seems the magic phrase there is "Give me a new hard drive or
I'll report you to the police for fencing stolen goods".

If they don't play along, go to the police and get some revenge.

Anyway, I've bought at least four hard drives from the market over the
years, so if number 5 breaks and turns out to be stolen, I'll still be
ahead in money terms (although I won't feel good about it).
