Linux attached to Sun NIS+ server issue

Hello All,

When I try to attach a RedHat Linux 7.3 machine as a NIS+ client (NIS+ server 
is a Sun workstation named sr1), I got the following error message,

"Couldn't connect to rpc.nisd on sr1 (10.1.1.3)".

The error message occurs when I try to initial the NIS+ client on the RedHat 
machine with "nisinit -c -H sr1".

Any idea? I never attach a RedHat Linux to Sun NIS+ successfully.
